The ORPHEUS Annual Conference is the premier event for academic leaders, graduate school directors, PhD programme managers, and higher education professionals committed to enhancing the quality and impact of doctoral education.
The 2027 Conference will take place in Copenhagen, Denmark 3-5 May 2027.
What to expect
The ORPHEUS 2027 Conference is taking place 3-5 May 2027 in Copenhagen, Denmark, and invites academic leaders, doctoral programme directors, supervisors, quality-assurance professionals, and PhD candidates to engage in an in-depth exploration of:
- AI and Quality in Doctoral Education
- Well Being and Career Paths
- Funding and Collaboration with Industry
The conference is hosted by the University of Copenhagen and organised in collaboration with University of Aarhus, University of Southern Denmark and University of Aalborg
The conference brings together participants from more than 130 member institutions across Europe and beyond. The three-day programme combines invited keynote lectures by internationally recognised experts, thematic oral sessions selected from abstracts, poster presentations, interactive workshops as well as social events and ample networking opportunities.
